On Apr. 30, a homeowner living in the 100 block of NW 28th Street heard someone at his front door and assumed it was a family member. He later heard someone at his back door and went to see who it was. He observed an unknown suspect in his yard, who fled on foot. The homeowner attempted to see where the suspect went but could not discover where. He then noticed that a lawnmower and numerous other lawn care items and tools were missing from a shed. The officer on the scene then spotted the items reported stolen on the outside of the victim’s fence. Apparently the suspect had placed them there. The items were photographed and returned to the owner. Evidence was collected at the scene and the case is under investigation.

On Apr. 30, Officers with the North Texas Auto Theft Task force recovered a stolen vehicle in the 1400 block of S. Church after it was abandoned at that location. The vehicle, a 2005 Chevrolet Truck was found to be stolen out of Oklahoma City. The vehicle was removed from the stolen vehicle data base and the Oklahoma City Police were notified.

Officers made 3 traffic stops, 2 adult arrest, and answered 91 calls for service for this reporting period.
